Despite selling just over 500,000 copies on Steam (according to Steam Spy), NetherRealm Studios have decided that they will no longer be supporting Mortal Kombat X on PC.

Tyler Lansdown, Community Specialist at NetherRealm Studios, confirmed on the Test Your Might forums that the upcoming Kombat Pack will not be arriving on the PC in this post: “Mortal Kombat XL and ‘Kombat Pack 2‘ will [be] available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only”.  This news was foreshadowed earlier this week when NetherRealm announced that their ‘Enhanced Online Beta’ will only be available on the console versions of the game.

This isn’t the first time a Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment published game has encountered issues on PC. Batman: Arkham Knight suffered game breaking issues at launch that eventually led to Warner Bros. temporarily pulling the game from sale.
